Adult First Responder Programs

Redline Responder Foundation aims to support our First Responders by providing them the opportunities to participate in organized sports and recreational activities. Because of the nature of the job,  First Responders have both a rewarding job, but it can be very stressful . They typically work long hours on shift, work multiple jobs, and lack routine sleep cycles. In addition to this, the physical and emotional demands of the job can be incredibly taxing on their minds and bodies. First responders are at risk for higher rates of heart disease, cancer, sleep issues, depression and even suicide.

The Foundation believes that the participation in these sports and recreational activities helps promote both physicial and mental health, provides a sense of community and gives First Responders a healthy outlet for stress relief from the day to day job on shift.

Currently, the Foundation is proud to support the Houston Fire Department Softball Team by helping sponsor and offset some of the costs of tournament play throughout the year. Additionally, the Foundation aims to help support the annual IRON BILL Tournament and host additional tournaments in the future.

The Foundation also encourages those involved in the First Responder Programs to be actively involved in giving back to the community as well.

The Foundation hopes to be able to expand their support to other sports in the near future.

If you are a First Responder and are interested in participating in our programs, please contact us.
